We had been looking for a lab thought-out the summer. Our families suggested a rescue since many of them had great success that way. We saw Holly online. We went through the pages of dogs but she was only one that ended up with a star by her name when we re-examined the list. She seemed perfect & through the puppy stage! (We didn't want that with 4 small kids). It took her a couple of days to quit pacing the floors at night, but soon she was sleeping in the Master bedroom. (She had tried the couch but soon learned she wasn't allowed there). It’s obvious she was well cared for or her adjustment would not have been so easy. The only real change we made for Holly was her collar. She needed a red one as she is now a Buckeye Fan. The kids love her and call on her all day to go to each one of their rooms. Sara (3yrs) says she is taking Holly outside to play (Sara never played outside by herself- now she brings her new friend) Holly tolerates all of their hugs, kisses & bugging when she gets tired of it, she just moves. It’s hardly fair that she likes the man of the house best. She is his shadow when he is home. I'm chosen second! Holly is truly a great member of our family!
